We love our dogs and our dogs love us but what if they really didn’t like the invasion of their own space without proper etiquette?  What if it was vice versa?

Is your dog afraid of things? Some dogs are fearful, and others are phobic…and there’s a difference between fears and phobias.

Most dogs just love those words. They bounce around, hunting for their leash and head for their door. Now that spring is just around the corner, you’re no doubt itching to head to the park or just around the neighborhood, ready to enjoy warmer weather and some sunshine.

It is important to know how to properly socialize your new puppy/dog and to teach them canine coping skills.To teach dog social skills, the re-enforcement/motivation MUST be positive or you can cause all kinds of behavioral issues in the future.

As dog lovers we should check out who is teaching our dogs just as a parent would check out who is teaching their children. Dogs and puppies need to be taught manners and boundary lines just as children do.

You know when you see a puppy your heart jumps and you just fall in love with it and your mind takes a back seat; but most people forget adopting a puppy or dog is a huge responsibility.
