The value of learning

They are often refered to as Gentle Giants. We are talking about the majestic Pyrenean Mountain Dog. This breed of cainine was historically used for to help guard livestock and it is not to be confused with the Pyrenean Mastiff. According to the AKC, their life span usually runs about 10-11 years and can grow up to 130lbs. They are gentle, fearless, and affectionate. Because they are bred to work independently, their strong willed nature comes into play. In history they claim their ground when they were adopted by the French Court back in the 17th Century. Atlanta Dog Trainer’s lead trainer, Susie Aga, had an exclusively tailored Q & A class for those owners of this majestic breed at the Great Pyraneese Rescue event that took place this spring.
