MaryAngela Benthal has been socializing and training dogs for over 12 years.
MaryAngela comes to us from Canine Companions for Independence in New York, where she worked to provided highly trained assistance dogs to help increase the independence of individuals with both physical and cognitive disabilities. Prior to her professional work with Canine Companions, MaryAngela served as a volunteer Puppy Raiser for the organization. Over the years she raised 5 future assistance dogs from 8 weeks to 18 months of age and fostered over 50 other puppies.
MaryAngela particularly enjoys working with dogs to overcome specific insecurities and helping them unlock their confidence and full potential.
MaryAngela believes the ideal pet dog is happy, healthy, well socialized, and polite. She loves to help others achieve this goal with their dogs too!
