Tracie Middlebrooks was in the corporate world for twenty years before transitioning back to working with animals. She started out working part time at the Atlanta Dog Trainer Pet Resort as a kennel technician. This provided the opportunity to work with dogs on a daily basis and observe their behavior. As her knowledge and skill set grew she was promoted to the position of assistant manager of the Atlanta Dog Trainer Pet Resort and from there to manager of the Alpharetta facility.
Tracie has had a lifelong relationship with dogs starting with her first German shepherd as a child. From there her passion for animals grew and she constantly had animals “showing up” at her house. Throughout high school she could be found most weekends volunteering at the local animal shelter where she did everything from cleaning kennels to conducting intakes or giving tours of the facility. Through this she developed a passion for quality animal care. Additionally she fosters for several rescue groups. She currently has six rescues of her own, including three German shepherds, a Belgian malinois, a malti poo and a Russian blue cat.
