Basic Agility Training Photos

Basic Agility class will teach dogs to go over all obstacles and in the 6 weeks the dogs will learn to do the obstacles in sequences. At the completion of the 6 week course the dogs will be able to run the course with perscion and joy. Please see our Agility Dog Trainingpage for more information.

Agility Obstacles for Basic Agility Lessons:

• Tire- dogs will learn to jump through the tire.
• Jumps- dogs will learn to run and jump over the jump poles.
• A-Frame- A large A-framed obstacle that the dog will learn to climb.
• Dog Walk- a dog walk that is elevated about 4 ft off the ground and your dog will learn to go up and walk the plank and go down the other side.
• See-Saws- Two different sizes and your dog will learn to go over the see-saw and they will learn to change the weight to lower the board down once on the other side
• Tunnels- Open tunnels that your dog will learn to go through, eventually the tunnel will also change shapes.
• Table- The dog will have to jump up on a table and do a 5 second down before they are released to go to the next obstacle.
• Shoot or closed Tunnel- This tunnel is a closed sleeve that the dog will learn to push through and come out on the other side.
• Weave Poles- The weave poles are poles that the dog will learn to go in and out of in a weaving motion.
